What's on Scottie's Wrist?

Scottie Scheffler has now become a true icon in the history books of professional golf. With 20 wins and over 100 million in career earning, its clear why most people are calling him the best ball striker since Tiger. But what does a guy like Scottie wear on his wrist?

I wanted to choose a watch he has worn to feature that represents who I think he is as a person and player. Pictured above is Scottie hoisting the Open Championship trophy at Royal Portrush. As you can see Sheff is wearing a 41 mm Rolex Submariner. This particular green model has been coined the "Starbucks"

An absolute timeless and iconic design with a twist. I think this defines Scottie life and career perfectly. He is someone that represents everything golf should stand for and is traditional in just about every way... except one. That Scottie shuffle he does in his swing we can relate to that green color way. Just one unique element on a historic model.

Lets dive into the specs. The Submariner model was introduced by Rolex in 1953, and changed the dive watch category forever. The particular model Scottie is wearing in the photos is a reference 126610LV. At the heart of the mechanical wonder is a calibre 3235, a high end self winding mechanism manufactured by Rolex. The model boasts a 70 hour power reserve which embodies the company's pursuit of precision and performance.

This particular model has grown significantly with it being on the wrist of Steve McQueen as well as other cultural icons. If you want to know the damage, from Rolex this watch is around the $11.5K mark. On the grey market or on website like Chrono24 you can expect to be in the mid $16k's.
Cheers everyone and sound off in the comments about the iconic Submariner. Remember to join our community where you can post and meet other golfers in your area!
